If you receive a like-for-like quote for these works from another business that is lower than our quotation, please let us know and we will see if we can beat that quotation. We would require a copy of the lower quotation. Note Terms & conditions apply.
Price may vary on any amendments to design or additional works not a part of this quotation.
Quotation is valid for 30 days and is subject to supplier’s price change. Payment terms will be stated on invoice. A deposit maybe required on agreement of order.
Our Service During and on completion of any work, the areas will be left clean and tidy. On occasions we may ask to leave certain materials on site if applicable. We ask that rooms to be worked in are cleared where possible prior to commencement.
In the event of additional work required attention, not mentioned in this estimate, we will liaise with you where appropriate and undertake or source the work for you as agreed. Fully Insured. Terms and Conditions of trading with Female Plumber These terms and conditions (hereafter referred to as “T&Cs”) are not exhaustive and do not form the sole basis of trading with Female Plumber.
Reference may also be made to all relevant legislation and Acts of Parliament as and when necessary for the protection of both parties. In this document, the terms “the contractor” or “the contractors” refers to Female Plumber and their own sub-contractors; the terms “the customer” or “the customers” refers to the person(s) who have entered into a contract with Female Plumber or their own sub-contractors.
Quotations The contractors base their quotations on site visits, discussions with the clients, reference to previous projects, and consultations with industry experts with appropriate qualifications, experience and insurance. Nevertheless, as projects unfold, on occasions additional works may be necessary at additional expense to the customer to ensure that the project may be brought to a successful conclusion. Any additional expenses will be communicated in writing to the customer by the contractor for approval before the additional works are carried out.
Deposits and Stage Payments Unless special arrangements are made in writing, the contractors require a deposit of 50% of the total project price in cleared funds one day before works are due to commence, with the balance payable within five days of satisfactory completion of the works or issue of the final invoice, Page 2 of 3 whichever comes later. Until 100% of the payments are received, all goods remain the property of the contractor.
Snagging Although the contractors, as a matter of course, snag the project before declaring the works complete, should the customer identify any snags or problems during the course of the works, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to draw these snags or problems to the attention of the contractor at the first opportunity.
Customers Risk If the contractors advise a particular course of action and the customer declines to allow this to take place, then any issues, problems, snags or failures consequent upon the customers decision to decline professional advice will render the customer liable for all costs of rectifying the issues, problems, snags or failures at a later stage. Similarly, if the customer supplies materials, then the customer is solely responsible for the failure of any item provided and any damage or additional costs consequent upon the failure of any such item. If any item supplied by the customer fails and requires replacing, and the customer asks the contractor to replace the item, then the customer is also liable for all costs of obtaining the replacement item, including travel time and fuel.
Health and Safety The contractors will undertake to fulfil the requirements of the health and safety obligations of their insurance policies; however, it is still the responsibility of the customer to provide a safe working environment as set out in the relevant Acts Of Parliament. All contractors will carry out a health and safety risk assessment; if at any stage the place of work is deemed unsafe, any contracted work will cease until such time as the place of work is deemed safe again.
Where we cannot resolve any complaints using our own complaints procedure, as a Which? Trusted trader we use Dispute Resolution Ombudsman for dispute resolution.
